The 39 clues is a book about a boy Dan and his older sister Amy. They are on a global hunt for their family's power which was hidden in the form of 39 clues. It's like a treasure hunt. Only with all the clues put together will they bring back their family's long lost power over the WORLD! The clues are normal materials like amber ,iron solute,tungsten,zinc,clovers and much more. Like all treasure hunt there are rivals like the Holts, Jonah wizard, the Kaberas and other people. There is only one rule Trust nobody

In this book Amy and Dan get a strange telegram from NRR(Nataliya Ruslanovna Radova, they don't know that until the end of the book)and now are deep in Russia. Away from the only trustworthy adult and cat they know. They also had to team up with the Holts. They also had to infiltrate a Lucian stronghold just to know to have 1 gram of melted Amber.

The 39 Clues

I am going to tell you about Amy and Dan Cahill in a book called the 39 clues One false note. It has many authors but this ones author is Gordon Korman. The thing about them is that their both different. Dan is the troublemaker and crazy collector while Amy is a bookworm and a student.

Dan is 1 year younger then Amy and Amy is twelve.

The main problem in the story is that Amy and Dan are in a race to find their family's power-a secret that can be found by assembling 39 Clues. Those are hidden all around the globe. So this was a treasure hunt. But what a treasure hunt- spanning oceans and continents, withe nothing less than world domaination as the prize. Yet high risks. Their rivals would stop at nothing to defeat them.

Their compitistion are alot of people.

Earthquake in Indonisa

A 7.3R earthquake happened in Indonesia on Sep\2\09. A weird thing happened that day at lunch. A snake that was about 1 meter long came out of the ground. Animals have a keen sense of when natural disasters are about to hit so they retreat before it hits. Then when the day ended some kids felt the earthquake and one kid (named Zoe) nearly fell down. According to Koran Tempo on 5\6\09, the earthquake had killed 67 people, injured 444 people with 37 people still missing. 27,770 people had to evacuate their own homes because of the Earthquake. 31,779 houses were heavily damaged, 15 were moderately damaged and 55,918 were mildly damaged. 836 schools were damaged along with 1,623 places of worship and 193 offices. This happened because Indonesia is on the ring of fire or the place most Earthquakes happen. The 67 deaths are mostly our fault because we made unstable buildings on the ring of fire. There is one incident when a land slide happened because of the earth quake. It destroyed some homes and buried some poor farmers in a village up in the mountains. Land slides happen when an earth quake loosens the bond between the top layer of a mountain and the bottom layer causing the top layer to slide down the mountain.
