I am going to tell you about Amy and Dan Cahill in a book called the 39 clues One false note. It has many authors but this ones author is Gordon Korman. The thing about them is that their both different. Dan is the troublemaker and crazy collector while Amy is a bookworm and a student.
Dan is 1 year younger then Amy and Amy is twelve.
The main problem in the story is that Amy and Dan are in a race to find their family's power-a secret that can be found by assembling 39 Clues. Those are hidden all around the globe. So this was a treasure hunt. But what a treasure hunt- spanning oceans and continents, withe nothing less than world domaination as the prize. Yet high risks. Their rivals would stop at nothing to defeat them.
Their compitistion are alot of people.
